A major player in the narrow textile industry in Europe and around the world, Satab combines a high-tech production tool, with modern automation machines and the world’s largest active wood craft workshop, known as “shuttles”, certified as a “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant”

Since its creation, the company has sought to invest in R&D projects with and for its customers. In 2005, an internal R&D department, the Satab Lab, was created. Its vocation: to anticipate and create the products of tomorrow and to respond to the specific development requests of its customers.
It is in this line that Satab develops from 2018 a connected ribbon. These smart ribbons open the field of possibilities to the sector of fashion, home, industry, health and packaging.
